The Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the FAO and funded by Canada, launched a virtual training program targeting over 2,200 farmers across Lebanon to support the agricultural sector amid ongoing challenges.  The initiative focuses on strengthening apple and vegetable value chains, providing guidance on good agricultural practices, crop management and seasonal planning, while integrating gender-sensitive approaches. Delivered through WhatsApp-based training and interactive sessions, the program aims to ensure continuity and broad access, as part of wider efforts to enhance food security and sustain agricultural production.
