UKRAINE’S IT EXPORTS CONTINUE TO GROW IN 2026 DESPITE WARTIME CHALLENGES

According to the National Bank, the domestic IT industry continues to grow faster than last year, despite wartime conditions and seasonal market fluctuations. In March 2026, the volume of Ukrainian IT service exports reached $592M. Compared with February, export revenues increased by $48M (8.8%). On an annual basis, the trend is also positive: In March 2025, the figure was $546M, representing an 8.4% increase.Five countries remain the main importers of Ukrainian IT services. The US is the leading market, with $230M in imports. The top five also include Malta ($53M), Cyprus ($42M), the United Kingdom ($37M), and Israel ($24M). In the first quarter of 2026, domestic technology companies contributed $1.644B to the Ukrainian economy, compared with $1.570B a year earlier (an increase of 4.7%).Currently, the share of IT in the structure of all Ukrainian service exports is 43.2%, up from 38.9% last year.
