Starlink is set to officially launch in Lebanon in mid-May 2026, following a lengthy regulatory process, with the satellite internet service initially available only to businesses.  Under the agreement, the company will pay a fixed annual fee and share 25% of subscriber revenues with the state. The license is non-exclusive, allowing other providers to enter the market, while restricting certain services such as infrastructure and wholesale connectivity.  The rollout aims to provide reliable high-speed internet independent of Lebanon’s existing infrastructure, particularly benefiting businesses affected by outages and connectivity issues.
