INDONESIA URGES INVESTORS TO USE EMBASSIES FOR BUSINESS ISSUES

Indonesia's Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Arif Havas Oegroseno encouraged foreign investors to initially engage with Indonesian embassies when encountering investment challenges, emphasizing their role as a first point of consultation. Speaking at a seminar in Jakarta, he highlighted that the Foreign Affairs Ministry, through its overseas missions, serves as a bridge between international investors and the Indonesian government, helping them identify local partners and navigate regulatory frameworks more effectively. To further address investment bottlenecks, the Indonesian government has established a Debottlenecking Task Force under the Finance Ministry, designed as an official channel for businesses to report operational constraints. Supported by coordination with the Foreign Ministry, the task force enables systematic monitoring and resolution of issues through structured reporting and periodic sessions, while also ensuring that global investors are aware of the mechanisms available to resolve obstacles when entering the Indonesian market.Source: https://en.antaranews.com/news/415569/indonesia-urges-investors-to-use-embassies-for-business-issues?utm_source=antaranews&utm_medium=mobile&utm_campaign=latest_home (ICE GIACARTA)
