JORDAN’S ELECTRICITY SUPPLIES TO IRAQ RISE BY 13%
Jordan’s National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) reported on Wednesday a 13 percent rise in electricity supplies to the Trebil border crossing with Iraq in the first four months of 2026. This development illustrates the two countries’ expanding collaboration in the energy sector. According to NEPCO’s figures, electricity supplies at the Trebil border crossing were 2.6 gigawatt-hour (GWh) during the same period, compared to 2.3 GWh in 2025, Shafaq News reported. (ICE AMMAN)
