The Department of Statistics (DoS) on Thursday issued its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI), showing that inflation stood at 2.49 per cent in April 2026 compared with the same month last year, and at 0.70 per cent compared with March 2026. Cumulative inflation during the first four months of 2026 reached 1.65 per cent, compared with 1.97 per cent during the same period in 2025. (ICE AMMAN)
