FOREIGN RESERVES RISE TO $27.051 BILLION BY END-APRIL — CBJ
The Kingdom’s foreign reserves rose to $27.051 billion by the end of April, reflecting the "resilience" of Jordan’s monetary position and the economy’s continued ability to maintain financial and monetary stability. Data showed that the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) gold holdings increased to around $11 billion, with total reserves reaching 2.397 million ounces, supported by the global rise in gold prices and the growing role of gold as a key safe-haven asset.
