Kazakh government expects inflation below 10% by year-endAfter peaking at 12.9% in September 2025, inflation in Kazakhstan has begun to decline, and the government expects the rate to fall below 10% by the end of 2026, Deputy Minister of National Economy Arman Kassenov said."Inflation is now on a downward trend. It peaked in September 2025 at 12.9%. By the end of April, inflation had fallen to 10.6%, and we expect to see inflation below 10% by the end of the year," Kassenov told the Senate, the upper house of parliament, on Monday.In 2025, the inflation in Kazakhstan came in at 12.3%, according to the National Bank.
