The Indonesian Halal Product Assurance Body (BPJPH) recently signed Recognition Agreements with two major Chinese certification firms, expanding the total number of recognized Chinese halal entities to 13 across food, cosmetics, and logistics sectors. The expanded ecosystem builds upon past infrastructure frameworks with China’s Food and Drug Corporation Quality and Safety Promotion Association (FDSA) regarding shared capacity-building, industrial investments, and joint research.
