More than 20 agreements with up to $6 billion in investment potential signed at Alatau City roadshow in ChinaA total of 24 cooperation agreements with a combined investment potential of up to $6 billion were signed following the international Alatau City roadshow in Shenzhen, China, the press service of the Kazakh prime minister reported.The agreements provide for the implementation of projects in industry, energy, logistics, high technology, urban infrastructure and the digital economy, according to the statement.The roadshow was attended by representatives of government agencies, investment funds, financial institutions, and development and technology companies from Kazakhstan and China.Participants were presented with the investment potential of the city of Alatau, including preferential terms for investors, one-stop-shop project support, and other benefits under a special legal regime.Special attention during the event was paid to Shenzhen’s experience in innovation, digital governance and investment attraction.“The best practices of the Chinese metropolis are planned to be used in the development of the city of Alatau,” the statement said.According to the press service, the sides also discussed prospects for further investment cooperation and the participation of Chinese companies in projects to be carried out in Alatau City.
