Iran's Solico Group to invest 35.2 billion tenge in cheese plant in KazakhstanIranian holding company Solico Group will invest 35.2 billion tenge ($72.2 million) to build a cheese production plant in the Almaty region with an annual capacity of 155,000 tonnes, Kazakhstan's Agriculture Ministry said Friday.The agreement was signed by Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov and Solico Group President Gholam Ali Soleimani.Under the deal, the investor commits to creating at least 400 permanent jobs, training Kazakh specialists and transferring modern production expertise and technologies.Construction and installation work is already underway at the site, with the plant scheduled for commissioning in 2029.Solico Group previously announced plans to build a dairy plant in Kazakhstan with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes and launch baby food production.
