COSMETICS CHAMBER SEES 9-10% GROWTH
THE Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines Inc. (CCIP) is projecting a 9- to 10-percent growth in the sales of personal care and beauty products in the country this year, the group’s president Janina Tan said at the Cosmobeauté trade show on Wednesday. In 2025, retail value sales rose by 10.1 percent to P320.85 million, higher than the P292.78 million in 2024. Demand for sun care products from young consumers is up, Tan said, noting that sales spiked by 16 percent last year. The Philippines has a young population, and with TikTok and e-commerce, sun care products are easy to buy, Tan pointed out. While fuel and commodity prices remain high due to the war in the Middle East, Tan said the cosmetics sector in the country remains stable. https://www.manilatimes.net/2026/06/18/business/cosmetics-chamber-sees-9-10-growth/2367767 (ICE SINGAPORE)
