Kazakhstan to open 30 modernized railway stations by JulyThirty modernized railway stations will be put into operation in Kazakhstan by July 1, Transport Minister Nurlan Sauranbayev said."The first 30 modernized stations will be opened by July 1," Sauranbayev told a government meeting Tuesday.He noted that Kazakhstan is undertaking its largest railway station modernization program since independence."The project covers 124 stations across all regions of the country. In addition, local authorities are carrying out improvements to station areas," the minister said.Modernization work on railway stations began in April 2025 across all regions.The upgrades include restoration and renovation of station buildings and surrounding areas, as well as replacement of engineering systems.
