Altynalmas sells Maikainzoloto to Gouden Reserves subsidiary for 8.7 bln tengeKazakh gold miner Altynalmas has sold its wholly owned subsidiary Maikainzoloto to Gouden Reserves Kazakhstan Limited, a unit of Dutch-registered Gouden Reserves B.V., according to a disclosure on the Astana International Exchange.The sale, covering 100% of Maikainzoloto's ordinary shares, was valued at 8.72 billion tenge and closed on June 17, the filing showed.The deal marks the second transaction between the two sides this month. On June 6, Altynalmas sold its 100% stake in Anisimov Klyuch, a copper deposit in eastern Kazakhstan, to the same Gouden Reserves unit for 1.07 billion tenge.Altynalmas had purchased its stake in Maikainzoloto from Rense Enterprises Limited for 6.06 billion tenge in April 2025.The buyer, Gouden Reserves Kazakhstan Limited, is a holding company registered at the Astana International Financial Centre in May 2024. Its Dutch parent holds a controlling stake in Altynalmas.Altynalmas ranks among Kazakhstan's top three gold producers by both output and resource base, with assets in five regions. As of April 1, Vladimir Dzhumanbayev held 18.52% of the company, while Gouden Reserves B.V. owned 54.33%, according to Kazakhstan Stock Exchange data. (ICE ALMATY)
