A high-level EU delegation, led by Ambassador Michael Miller, visited Apex Footwear Limited’s factory in Gazipur to observe best practices in Bangladesh’s footwear industry. The visit aimed to enhance industry-wide sustainability and strengthen ties between Europe and Bangladesh's industrial sector. The delegation toured the Apex Tannery Unit, the first LWG Gold-rated facility in the country, showcasing advanced manufacturing technology, skilled labor, and renewable energy integration. Ambassador Miller expressed pride in the partnership and recognized Apex's commitment to quality and sustainability.
