Dubai has solidified its position as the world's leading destination for greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) projects for the fifth year in a row, capturing a record 7% share of global projects in 2025. The emirate experienced one of its strongest economic performances in a decade, attracting 1,253 greenfield FDI projects—a 10.5% increase from the previous year—alongside $8.83 billion (AED32.43 billion) in capital inflows and the creation of nearly 39,000 jobs. Driven by the ambitious Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to double the size of its economy by 2033, Dubai also ranked number one globally in strategic sectors such as manufacturing, transportation, and artificial intelligence, reflecting robust international investor confidence in the emirate's resilient, forward-looking economic framework.
