The 24th edition of Agritex 2026, Syria’s international exhibition for agriculture and veterinary supplies, opened on Thursday at Damascus Fairgrounds, bringing together government officials and companies from Syria and across the region.  Agriculture Minister Basel al-Suwaidan attended the opening alongside representatives of institutions linked to the agricultural and veterinary sectors.  The exhibition features more than 158 brands representing 84 companies operating in the agricultural and veterinary industries in Syria and neighboring countries.  Agritex 2026 exhibits include agricultural production inputs, veterinary medicines, animal feed, fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and modern poultry technologies.
