CIS Rail Transport Council imposes ban on Kazakh LPG exports to Temryuk port until July 2The Council for Railway Transport of CIS member states has imposed a temporary ban until July 2 on shipments of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Kazakhstan to the Temryuk station on the North Caucasus Railway for delivery to Russian company Maktrеn-Nafta LLC, according to a document posted on the KTZ-Freight Service website.The restriction was introduced at the request of Russian Railways and took effect June 23, the notice said.The ban covers shipments of propane, butane and butane mixtures, liquefied petroleum gases, and propane-butane fractions originating from Kazakhstan.The ban covers shipments bound for Temryuk station and the Temryuk export point on the North Caucasus Railway, with Maktrеn-Nafta LLC listed as the consignee.
