A new direct charter air connection between Vilnius and Grosseto is being introduced to strengthen tourism links between Lithuania and Italy. The route will provide Lithuanian travellers with direct access to southern Tuscany and improve connectivity with central Italy beyond the country’s main airport hubs.The new connection is expected to support incoming tourism flows from Lithuania to Italy and facilitate access to the Tuscan coastal area during the travel season. It may also contribute to wider visibility of regional Italian destinations in the Lithuanian outbound tourism market.The route creates an additional channel for cooperation between Lithuanian travel operators and Italian tourism, hospitality and local service providers, particularly in relation to leisure travel packages and regional tourism promotion.
