Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will visit Jakarta on Monday (Jul 6) for the annual Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat, where he will meet Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. The visit will mark the second leaders’ retreat between the two leaders. The annual meeting is the highest-level platform for Singapore and Indonesia to review bilateral ties and chart the direction of cooperation between the two South-east Asian neighbours. “The leaders’ retreat reaffirms the deep and enduring bilateral ties between Singapore and Indonesia, and the commitment by both governments to deepening bilateral cooperation,” Singapore’s Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement on Sunday.
