Kazakhstan, NASA agree to develop space cooperation action planKazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev and NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman have agreed to draw up a practical plan for space cooperation, the ministry's press service said.The agreement was reached during a meeting at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the ministry said.The sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, with a focus on joint projects in space science, astrophysics, satellite technology and Earth remote sensing, according to the statement.They also explored ways to expand collaboration between research institutions and universities of both countries, including training programs for highly qualified specialists and commercial cooperation in the space industry."Kazakhstan is interested in building long-term practical engagement with NASA focused on concrete outcomes: joint research projects, the introduction of innovative technologies and training of the next generation of specialists," Madiyev was quoted as saying.Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness for further dialogue and instructed their respective teams to develop a practical cooperation plan.
