Kazakhstan's gas output falls 4.1% in H1 2026Kazakhstan produced 31.4 billion cubic meters of gas in January-June 2026, down 4.1% from the same period last year, Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov said."In the reporting period, we produced 31.4 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 95.9% of the volume we produced in the same period last year," Akkenzhenov told a government meeting on Tuesday.He said the 2026 gas production forecast stands at 64.5 billion cubic meters.Commercial gas production in the first half fell 12.9% to 12.2 billion cubic meters.
