The UAE government has announced new infrastructure projects focused on long-term sustainability. These include the AED 2.5 billion second phase of the Tasreef stormwater drainage network, designed to serve 3 million people by 2040, and a water desalination plant with a capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per day.
