KAZAKHSTAN-KMG-AIRLINE-FUEL
KMG subsidiary to fuel Belgian cargo carrier's flightsKazMunayGas-Aero, a subsidiary of National Company KazMunayGas (KMG), has signed a contract with Belgian cargo carrier ASL Airlines Belgium to provide into-plane refueling at Almaty International Airport, KMG's press service said."Under the agreement, KMG-Aero guarantees to service the European partner's flights in strict compliance with international quality standards," the company said.KMG said the deal reflects international confidence in Kazakhstan's fuel supply infrastructure.ASL Airlines Belgium, founded in 1999 and formerly known as TNT Airways, is part of the global ASL Aviation Holdings group. The airline operates a fleet including narrow-body Boeing 737 aircraft and heavy wide-body Boeing 747-400ERF freighters.KMG-Aero previously signed into-plane refueling contracts with Uzbekistan's Fly Khiva Cargo, Turkey's ULS Airlines Cargo, Georgia's CAMEX Airlines, Cargolux and FlyOne Armenia. The company also has direct agreements with leading international carriers including Turkish Airlines, Turkish Cargo, FlyDubai, Red Sea, Air Cairo, Somon Air, FlyMeta and Silk Way West Airlines.KMG-Aero, a KMG business unit, has operated in Kazakhstan's aviation fuel market since mid-2014. It is the sole supplier of gasoline, diesel, fuel oil and jet fuel to Kazakhstan's armed forces, the National Security Committee's Border Service and the National Guard. (ICE ALMATY)
