INDONESIA BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON $11.8B NORTH HUB GAS PROJECT
Indonesia has launched the construction phase of the North Hub gas project with the first steel-cutting ceremony for the Bahtera Haluan Lestari FPSO in Tanjung Balai Karimun. Representing a $2.9 billion portion of the total $11.8 billion investment, the FPSO will process gas from 16 wells across the Geng North and Gehem fields before piping it to Santan Terminal. Managed by Eni North Ganal Ltd and SKK Migas, the project aims for first production by late 2028, showcasing international confidence in Indonesia’s energy sector and advancing high-tech domestic manufacturing capabilities.Source: https://www.antaranews.com/berita/5663217/pemerintah-mulai-konstruksi-proyek-gas-north-hub?page=all (ICE GIACARTA)
