INDONESIA LEVERAGES GROWING APPEAL WITH NEW INVESTMENT HUB PLAN
Indonesia is moving forward with plans to establish the Indonesia Financial and Investment Center (IIFC) to strengthen its position as a global investment destination. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said Indonesia is increasingly recognized as a high-potential market with significant growth opportunities, making it attractive to investors from around the world. The government aims to accelerate the development of the IIFC as a key mechanism to attract and facilitate greater capital inflows. President Prabowo Subianto announced that the first IIFC estate will be developed in Jakarta, followed by a similar center in Bali, with possible expansion to other investment-friendly regions. The IIFC is envisioned as an international-standard financial hub focused on investment services, financial technology, arbitration, and commercial dispute resolution. Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani added that the initiative has received strong interest from Asian investors and family offices, highlighting positive feedback from more than 110 business representatives he recently met in Bali.Source: https://en.antaranews.com/news/427247/indonesia-leverages-growing-appeal-with-new-investment-hub-plan?utm_source=antaranews&utm_medium=mobile&utm_campaign=latest_category (ICE GIACARTA)
