Kazakhstan's first AI university to admit about 600 studentsKazakhstan's first artificial intelligence research university, Qazaq AI Research University, will admit about 600 students this year, science and higher education minister Sayasat Nurbek said."In line with a presidential directive, Kazakhstan's AI research university will start classes this year. Around 600 students are expected to be admitted," Nurbek told a government meeting in Astana on Tuesday.The minister added that 400 students will be enrolled in bachelor's programs, with 308 of them receiving state grants. Master's programs will admit 100 students, funded by Astana Hub and Alageum grants, as well as through paid tuition.In addition, Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna will send 100 of its employees to study in the MBA AI+X program, Nurbek said.
