Bayan Sulu launches confectionary factory in Kostanai regionA large factory called the Capital of Confectionery, with a capacity of 16,600 tonnes of confectionery products per year, has been launched at the Bayan Sulu plant in the Kostanay region, the Agriculture Ministry said.Investment in the project has reached 14.6 billion tenge, with total investment expected to reach 20 billion tenge after additional production lines are installed.The new factory will allow Bayan Sulu to produce an additional 16,600 tonnes of confectionery products annually, including sponge cakes and cookies.Bayan Sulu is one of Kazakhstan's largest confectionery producers, with a history of more than 50 years. Its products are in demand domestically and exported to CIS countries, Europe and China. (ICE ALMATY)
