Kazatomprom agrees uranium concentrate supply deals with Russia's Uranium One, China's SNURDCKazatomprom has reached agreements to sell natural uranium concentrate (U3O8) to Russia's Uranium One and China's State Nuclear Uranium Resource Development Company (SNURDC), the company said in a filing to the Astana International Exchange.Kazatomprom expects to deliver a batch of uranium concentrate to Russia's Siberian Chemical Plant (SCP) for Uranium One and to the Alashankou railway station for SNURDC.Pricing, volumes and delivery timelines cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality terms, but are consistent with current market conditions, the company said.The deals will be considered at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.Kazatomprom is Kazakhstan's national operator for uranium and rare metal exports, nuclear fuel and specialized equipment, and is managed by state holding company Samruk-Kazyna, which holds 62.99%, with the Finance Ministry holding 12.01% and a 25% free float.Uranium One is part of Rosatom's TENEX group and ranks among the world's largest uranium mining companies with a diversified portfolio of international assets. It is also a participant and shareholder in Kazatomprom joint ventures UGHK, Akbastau and Karatau.SNURDC is a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), responsible for uranium and fuel assembly supplies, with a mandate to invest in uranium exploration and development.
