KazTransOil boosts oil transport 4% in January-August to 30.6 mln tonnesKazTransOil (KTO) increased oil transportation through its main pipeline system by 4% in the first eight months of 2026 to 30.6 million tonnes, the company said Wednesday."The main pipeline system handled 30.6 million tonnes of oil, up 4% year-on-year," KTO said in a statement.Volumes on the Atyrau–Samara section rose 2% to 6.9 million tonnes, while the TON-2 pipeline saw a 5% increase to 8.1 million tonnes.Shipments on the Atasu–Alashankou pipeline to China rose 3% to 7.6 million tonnes, with Kazakh exports via that route jumping 24% to 863,000 tonnes.Deliveries to the CPC-K system surged 39% to 3.1 million tonnes, while tanker loading at the Aktau port increased 6% to 2.4 million tonnes.The Kazakhstan-China Pipeline system transported 13.1 million tonnes, up 2%, and the MunaiTas pipeline handled 4.3 million tonnes, a 10% increase. Throughput at the Batumi Oil Terminal rose 3% to 1.25 million tonnes.KazTransOil is Kazakhstan's national operator of main oil pipelines and part of the KazMunayGas group.
