Tokayev proposes Kazakhstan-Germany investment and financial platformKazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has proposed creating a Kazakhstan-Germany investment and financial platform at a meeting with representatives of German business associations and financial institutions, his press service said."Such a platform would bring together German and European capital with Kazakh co-financing, guarantees and risk-sharing mechanisms, while Baiterek would structure the projects," the press service quoted Tokayev as saying in Berlin.Tokayev also called for prioritizing cooperation on critical materials."Kazakhstan wants to cooperate with Germany's raw materials fund and advance projects that qualify for UFK guarantees and help secure raw material supplies for German industry," he said.Tokayev urged German companies to deploy their capabilities in data center technology, energy efficiency, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.He said Kazakh-German cooperation is an integral part of Kazakhstan's engagement with the European Union."We have come a long way together, but there is still untapped potential in our economic partnership.
