Belarus, Kazakhstan sign $80 million in business dealsBelarusian and Kazakh companies signed agreements worth a total of $80 million at a meeting of the Belarusian-Kazakh Business Council, state publisher Belarus Segodnya reported Thursday."The signing was the council's main outcome and confirmed both sides' interest in deepening trade and economic ties and pursuing joint projects," the report said. "The meeting focused on cooperation between the two countries' business communities, with participants discussing current issues and mapping out promising areas for joint work. Representatives of chambers of commerce and business circles from both countries spoke at the event."Brest Meat Plant and BELOSTAN.KZ signed a supplementary agreement to a contract supplying meat products to Kazakhstan in 2027. Molochy Mir and BELOSTAN.KZ signed a similar deal for dairy products, also for 2027.BORKOF-AGRO and OptimTech agreed to build a rubber flooring plant in Kazakhstan. The BAZ group of companies and KSP Steel signed an agreement on technical cooperation and exchange of experience, while the Belarusian Steel Works and KSP Steel signed a memorandum of understanding.RCM and Astana Motors concluded a trade agreement on supplies of Kazakh commercial vehicles, and Zavod Bulbash and Kazakh Trade House signed a trade agreement on supplies of Kazakh alcohol.
