Italian exports to Libya saw exceptional growth of 84.5% during the first four months of this year, reaching €1,005 billion, compared to €545 million during the same period last year.It is to be noted that Italian exports to Libya ranked fifth last year—valued at €2,178 billion—trailing behind Egypt, Turkey, China, and the UAE.Statistical reports released on Saturday by the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) indicated that this increase was driven primarily by shipments of refined petroleum products, machinery and mechanical equipment, electrical appliances, consumer goods, and food products, according to the Libyan News Agency.
