Jordan’s Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) has launched an international tender for the construction of a new oil terminal at the country’s main maritime gateway. The state-owned developer is seeking contractors for the engineering, procurement and construction of marine infrastructure at the Port of Aqaba’s South Port complex. The planned terminal will accommodate tankers ranging from 3,000 dwt to 160,000 dwt and handle crude oil, refined petroleum products, fuel oil, bitumen, LPG, liquid ammonia and other chemical cargoes.
