TRADE EXPO INDONESIA OPENS WITH US$13.2 BILLION MOUS SIGNING

Indonesia officially opened the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026 in Tangerang, Banten, with Indonesian exporters set to sign 168 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth a combined US$13.2 billion with buyers from 22 countries. Trade Minister Budi Santoso said the agreements were facilitated through Indonesia’s overseas trade promotion network, including trade attachés and Indonesian Trade Promotion Centers (ITPCs). The expo aims to generate US$17.5 billion in transactions and has attracted strong international interest, with more than 16,800 registered buyers, including over 8,000 foreign buyers from 134 countries. The event features 1,873 exhibitors showcasing a wide range of products, including food and beverages, agricultural commodities, manufactured goods, fashion, handicrafts, furniture, home décor, and industrial products. The Ministry of Trade is also using the expo to recognize outstanding contributions to Indonesia’s export performance through awards such as the Primaniyarta Awards, Primaduta Awards, and Campuspreneur Award. Held from October 14–18 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, TEI remains a key platform for expanding Indonesia’s export markets and attracting international business partnerships and investment.Source: https://en.antaranews.com/news/435421/trade-expo-indonesia-opens-with-us132-billion-mous-signing-minister?utm_source=antaranews&utm_medium=mobile&utm_campaign=latest_category (ICE GIACARTA)
