The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Manufacturing Company is preparing to restart its petrol production unit this week, alongside efforts to resume operations at its gas processing unit.The plans were discussed at a meeting between the NOC's General Administration of Oil Industries and Sirte Oil Company officials at the company's headquarters. The meeting reviewed the company's activities in 2026, planned projects and production targets for 2027.Projects highlighted included the petrol production unit, the fourth power generation station at the company's petrochemical complex, which has a capacity of 30 megawatts, and the gas processing unit.
