Kazakhstan's industrial output rises 2.9% in Jan-SeptKazakhstan's industrial output totaled 51.9 trillion tenge in value terms in January-September 2026, up 2.9% from the same period in 2025, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.The extractive industry accounted for 24.4 trillion tenge (46.9% of the total) and manufacturing made up 24.1 trillion tenge (46.5%).The extractive industry posted a 4.3% decrease in the output, and metallurgical production declined 1.8%.Manufacturing grew 8.6%, food production 13.8, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals 30.9%, chemical products 23.4%, rubber and plastic products 18.1%, and machine building 22.8%.Electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply rose 12.4%.
