KazMunayGas refinery in Romania posts 5.6% decline in refining volume in 9MThe Petromidia refinery in Romania, Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company KazMunayGas (KMG), processed 4.087 million tonnes of feedstock in January-September 2026, down 5.6% from the same period last year, the KMG press service said.In January-September 2025, the Romanian refinery processed 4.330 million tonnes.Diesel production in the first nine months of this year totaled 1.79 million tonnes, gasoline 1.10 million tonnes and Jet A1 aviation fuel 369,000 tonnes.The Petromidia petrochemical complex is part of KMG International Group.KMG International, a KMG subsidiary, is registered in Romania and operates more than 1,300 retail outlets in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Georgia under the Rompetrol brand.
