DRAGON CAPITAL PLANS $1.2B IN UKRAINE INVESTMENTS OVER THREE YEARS.

Dragon Capital plans to invest about $1.2B in Ukraine over the next three years, targeting energy, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, and real estate, founder Tomas Fiala said at the Kyiv International Economic Forum. The investment group is also exploring opportunities in banking and insurance, housing development in western Ukraine and industrial parks.Dragon Capital has gradually increased investment despite Russia’s full-scale war. The company invested about $100M in 2025, nearly returning to its prewar level, and aimed to exceed that amount in 2026, according to Fiala. To attract additional capital, the group is developing two funds with a combined fundraising target of $600M: the Rebuild Ukraine private equity fund and an infrastructure fund being established with Britain’s Amber Infrastructure.Dragon Capital is also considering investments in Central Europe. Fiala said those markets offer lower security risks and stricter rule of law, but greater competition and different returns. The plans signal continued investor interest in Ukraine, although the pace of deployment will depend in part on the group’s ability to raise additional capital.https://ubn.news/dragon-capital-plans-1-2b-in-ukraine-investments-over-three-years/ (ICE KIEV)
