Gaggio srl - since 1960 professional umbrellas

A story worth telling.
With a view to the past, we design the umbrellas of the future.

It was 1960 when Vittorio Gaggio, starting out in a small artisan workshop in the Venetian hinterland, devised the very first models of Italian sun umbrellas, starting with the wood from which the slats and poles were created, with the addition of rough canvas that was hand-sewn by his wife Egle. This innate ability to create has since been handed down from generation to generation, as the company evolved like its products.

In this evolution, the company’s mission has always remained the same: to produce umbrellas and covers designed for professional use. Quality, durability, ease of use, aesthetic refinement and attention to details are our distinctive characteristics.
These elements gave rise to highly performing technical umbrellas, which become real furnishing and design elements. Entrepreneurial dynamism. Our company has thus reached its third generation.
We interpret and sometimes anticipate the natural evolution of the market; combining modern design and production technologies with the all-Italian ability to create customized products and solutions.

Pyramid, New patented, Made in Italy. From the shapes of the past we have invented the parasol of the future. Pyramid, a new, revolutionary, patented backlit, rigid panel constructed parasol. Pyramid adds a touch of elegance to any location it is placed in, shading its guests from dawn till dusk. When open, it provides shade and shelter from the rain; its backlit panels allow it to be used in the evenings, without having to resort to additional lighting systems. When closed, it turns into a exquisitely designed ornamental lamp.

Maxipro. Directly from the regatta fields. To manoeuvre so many square metres of sail, with a simple top, is truly a unique sensation. Maxipro is a parasol with powerful, elegant central pole, of exclusive image, the absolute protagonist of your outdoor areas. It features a telescopic system with self-balanced opening that allows opening and closing the parasol easily and safely without moving the objects below, simply using a tensioning rope.

Golia. The giant that knows how to astonish. Observing a giant parasol up to 100 square metres that opens up with a remote control, is not something you see every day. The parasols of the Golia series definitely o er stage e ects. In the morning, when you set up your outdoor area, you will see a queue of people that will ask you: what time is the show starting? All the movements take place without the need to move tables and chairs below.

Swing. The parasol that moves in perfect harmony. Design and operation simplicity are combined in a truly unique parasol with retractable side arm. Quick and easy to open and incline thanks to the perfect weight balancing, Swing opens up and is tensioned by means of a nautical pulley featuring quick locking system. A practical tilting system also allows adjusting the inclination of the parasol according to the sun, or to avoid objects below.

Venezia. The parasol with double personality. Exuberant, massive and charismatic when open, discreet and low-pro le when closed. The Venezia model transforms the space below when open. Luxury and elegance become immediately protagonists. When not in use, it quickly folds away, at the borders of the floor, thus leaving it free of obstacles.
